It was brought to my attention that the result of last weeks poll might have been manipulated. It's true that the total number of votes is quite higher than usual. Usually we have around 7k votes, last week we had almost 9k. I'm sure it's possible to "trick" the poll somehow, but I don't understand WHY somebody would do that...I'm going to keep an eye on the numbers and see what happens this week. And as always, a link to our Thong of the Week Archive. It contains over 2000 pictures. Have a nice start into the new week.

| Seems there was cheating in last week's TOTW. By Friday morning, Total Vote Count was already 7,232 (higher than typical even after two and a half more days have gone by to complete the week). More suspiciously, Thong 2 was behind Thong 1 by several hundred votes. On Thursday night (while most North Americans were sleeping), Thong 2 jumped ahead by 400 votes. Friday day, normal voting continued with a hundred or so votes distributed between all candidates. But during Friday night, once again Thong 2 gained hundreds of votes, ending up thousands of votes in the lead. This seems unlikely given the voting controls in place and the typical distribution of votes. Even with all the contestants votes combined for a couple days, we don't normally see that many votes! Therefore, someone or some group has figured out how to cheat. Is there any way to fix this? |
