The red light is the back light for fog. The original Trabant hasn't no one.
I don't think that the owner of this car has a deep black humor.
Everybody in germany associates the Stasi and the trabant with the ddr.
Both together confirms all prejudices and thats it.
Not really funny, but enough for a little smile. |

This arent emergency lights.
The red one is the stop light.
The white one is the reversing light.
btw The car is a "Trabant" also known as "Trabbi". Today it is one of the things which everyone associates with east germany (DDR - Deutsche Demokratische Republik)
The Stasi were the intelligence service of east Germany. They surveilled, arrested and tortured everyone in east germany who doesn't go with the socialistic/communistic legal system.
It appears that the vehicle owner has deep black humour. |
