| the housing link is funny. you can't even buy a HOUSE where I live in Richmond, BC for 500,000.... You can get an apartment or maybe a 1 or 2 bedroom town house. But if you're looking for a house with some land, maybe 1/4 or 1/2 an acre you're looking at almost 1,000,000 cnd!!!! mind you its slowly coming down but in the last 5 years we've seen our housing market double almost triple in some areas. if you live within 15 minutes of Downtown Vancouver you're shit out of luck for cheap housing!!!! |
