 Like I already said in the last update, phun.org is getting more and more popular. That's of course a very good thing but on the other hand the increasing number of visitors has also a small negative effect: Traffic. Just a few days ago I bought a bigger webspace-package, including 100 GB traffic, before that I only had 50 GB. But that is still way too little. phun.org is producing at the moment ~7 GB traffic a day. Round that up for a month = 210 GB/month.
So I have to change something. First of all I'm turning-off the Movie-Section, but just until the end of this month. So I have the possibility to see how much traffic I can save without the movies, but I think the main traffic-generator is the gallery. I will keep the gallery up as long as it is possible, but if I don't get the chance to buy a bigger hosting plan (I presently have the biggest plan my hoster is offering) - I have to turn-off the gallery too. Time will show...I only want you to know what's going on.
