This news is currently spreading like a bush fire on the internet. Stumbled over it a few hours ago and now already numerous of websites are reporting about it. It seems like a hacker got access to a large number of Sidekick mobile phones. Most of owners are from the Los Angeles area, including the famous Paris Hilton. I'm not to 100% sure if this isn't a big hoax, but Security Focus and MSNBC are reporting about this story too: Poor Paris Hilton doesn't have too much luck when it comes to privacy issues. The partying heiress has been the victim of a hacker who somehow got access to her Blackberry and was reading her private e-mails, says a source. "She was pretty upset about it. It?s one thing to have people looking at your sex tapes, but having people reading your personal e-mails is a real invasion of privacy." She had a lot of informations saved on her "SideKick". Not just photos but also a complete list of telephone numbers of nearly every famous person in Hollywood and the music biz, like Eminem, Angelina Jolie, Fred Durst, Nicole Richie and a shitload others. The list has size of is 600kb, just html. There are floating numerous MP3s around, where you can hear Nick Carter and other stars talking. I cannot prove this, cause I don't know the voice of these ppl, but it would be cool if somebody from here would try it and post in the comments if it really works! Tendrils I was listening to some streams that people were broadcasting as they called a lot of these numbers... yep, quite a few of them are legit, but most were answering machines / voicemail. Definitely celebrity voices on those which were personalised, though 21.02.2005 - 00:00:25

Clyde Tried it this morning and it is legit. Most of the numbers are disconnected and / or mailboxes are full. Got through to Nikki Hilton's voicemail though, told her to make her own porn and break into the big league like her sis.
