| I saw that you used Verdana in your post, and I think we need to address that before it becomes a pattern. Verdana is readable, obviously, but so is a highway exit sign, and that’s not necessarily the aesthetic we should be bringing to our website. I’d recommend switching to Calibri. It feels a little cleaner and more polished, and it would help the site look like it was written with at least some awareness that fonts exist as a choice. In the future, I’d suggest taking an extra moment to think about presentation before posting something. These details may seem insignificant, but once we start accepting Verdana without question, I’m genuinely not sure where the line is anymore. |
