 For the beginning just some stats from the last month. January 2005 was the first month with an average of 100k visitors/day. In total phun.org was visited by 3.116.000 people. That's really impressive. I can't wait to see the movie server online. Finally I will be able to provide you with the best movies directly on phun.org - I hope the server + scripts will be ready this month. This feature gonna lift the website to a new level. But now to some other good things:
Stupid story of the moment:
Student suspended five days for saying "I love booty."
During his daily sports report last week on Wild 4 News, the Estero High junior and another student were recapping the girls soccer team's 8-0 shutout win against North Fort Myers. The script, pre-approved by their TV production teacher, said that the team really kicked some booty. Then Devlin, wanting to inject a little energy into his broadcast, responded with a quick-witted joke: "I love booty," he cracked.
Instead of a laugh, though, Devlin's statement got him called into the administrative office. He then got the boot from school, suspended for five days in what Assistant Principal Howard Wendland termed "inappropriate comments on live school television broadcast."
