...after a pretty crazy night we're basically back to 100%. We're able to retrieve the latest backups up until the 9th of October 2010, so we have lost just a couple of days, that's pretty great considering the hell this site went through. To sum it up in a short story. Early morning on Saturday October 16th some hackers got access to the management servers of my old hoster. They were able to overwrite just about every server the company owns (over 1000). So basically every client being hosted by that company was offline since that very moment. The company obviously wasn't prepared for such an attack and wasn't able to restore the backups in a timely manner. So most of the clients went to other companies trying to get their stuff online. Since most clients went to the same new company they were swamped with work too. And than we had problems to find the proper backups of our sql database and it was all just a huuuge fucking mess. But as of today 12pm I can happily declare that we're back to 99,8%. The regular Tuesday update will be online within 2 hours.
Thanks to everybody who supported us during this hard time and to all our visitors in general, for coming back to phun.org - I'll try my best to keep you entertained. On to the next 7 years - hopefully without any downtimes from here on :)

Sooo, finally there's a new update. I'm sorry for the hickups during the last few days, we're still trying to recover a newer db-backup and it's looking good, hopefully tomorrow we will have most data back. Until then you can vote for your most favorite ass of this week. The numbers of the past week are obviously pretty off, because we lost 90% of the data (and votes), but that's how you guys have voted since Friday.

It's not always an easy decision. While in general I would def. prefer real boobs over fake ones, I have to say it's really up to the woman.
