certainly you can make this site mobile friendly with a much less 'invasive' change.
anyway, do an A/B test on the new design and figure out what people think before fully committing to changing, it may turn out that one of the reasons you *do* have this much traffic is because of the "outdated" look! |

I never comment till now and i am a regular. I will agree with "TheDude" no one likes changes (especialy with this Layout) but if you insist on changing make it less complicated than the demo.
we all love Phun for the way it looks.

Emma, please elaborate on how you want to contribute to the webdesign aspect of the discussion. Since you most likely are a man in between 40 and 60, you might have insight in at least some web technologies. JS? PHP? C'on - Anything?  |

I'm open to the new site design. The preview looks very clean and readable, and that's a good thing. However, Weekly Thong is missing. I'd like to see Weekly Thong on the home page, so voting is quick and easy. There are a lot of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter sharing buttons cluttering the page - all wasted space as these buttons are not needed. I cannot tell from the preview whether sticky menus and/or other sticky content is present. I hope there is none. Sticky menus and sticky content are huge problems on other sites, and I'm glad Phun largely avoids these kinds of annoyances. The biggest thing I like about Phun presently, other than the amazing women and their sexy butts of course, is the site reads like a page. I hope Phun keeps this and avoids the temptation to present itself in semi-web-app style. Thanks for all your work on the site and on the preview. The new site looks great and just needs a little of the old to create synergy with the new.  |

| Please dont change your design to that, its too different, phun is simple, each day a new post of awsomeness... we like the layout as is, if you want to change it, then css it up, make it better, but please dont change the layout to that new style ...i think i can speak for at least 80% of us when i say this... much love |

| Hey man, yeah, the new redesign might alienate some regular users quite a bit. I'd run some usability tests before releasing anything. There is a reason why the current design works, it get's to the point and since most of your users are direct, they expect for things to be where they've been for years. So it might be just better to make this site mobile friendly and rollout improvements gradually. |

damn, I was hoping for some more positive replies X)
haha, well yeah it's different, but you can't browse this site properly on mobile and we're almost at 50% mobile traffic these days...plus Google is punishing is super hard as well...so there's no real way around this redesign, it certainly looks different in full size.
the biggest difference is that each link has it's own thumbnail and more text, but that's all. so yeah, you'll have to scroll a bit more to see all 15 daily links, but I hope that you guys will still stick around.
and if more people are going to like the new design, we can certainly work something out on that end as well... |

| That up to date look doesn't look like an improvement. I've been coming here for 5 years or so, and the old layout works for me. Maybe just update the side panels with new celeb photos. |

i dont like "up-to-date" websites, i hate the "design", the "things just float around" style of web 2.0 BS... ill take a look, but the sneak-peak isnt for me 
i like the old design (on every webpage...), thats why this site is on my little "visit every day because its nice!" list
