Re August Ames RIP. I find it hard to believe (too) and very sad. Last year, we lost Amber Rayne (Meghan Wren). Now, this year, August Ames (Mercedes Grabowski) is gone. Both women died very young, Rayne at 31 years of age and Ames at 23 years of age. I'm not sure whether this is a reflection of the porn industry or a greater indicator that achieving fame in such a short time and at such a young age comes with many challenges. Ames seemed to suffer from various kinds of depression, which was a contributing factor. At any rate, I wish both women peace.
